Features Publishing
Publish it
Four steps from draft to live
The Publish tab walks you through everything your course needs before it goes out, and tells you if anything's missing.
A web address that's yours
Type the address you want and Course Mark checks it's free as you go. Your sales page and your course page both live there.
Share it anywhere: your website, Instagram bio, emails and newsletters.
Available
Lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. Changing it later breaks links you've already shared.
Or use your own domain
Put your courses on a web address you already own, like learn.willowstudio.com. Your coursemark.co links keep working too.
- 1Unlock it from Custom domain on My courses, and type the address you want.
- 2Add one record where you manage your domain. Course Mark shows you exactly what to type.
- 3We secure it with HTTPS, and every course you publish is there.
learnVALUEcoursemark.netlify.appOne password, sent for you
Students don't make accounts. You choose one course password, buyers get it by email, and they log in with their email and that password.
Password violet-paper-brush
Need to change it? Update the password and publish again. Your Students tab shows who has paid, so you can spot a shared password.
Live is just
the beginning
Keep editing after launch. Nothing changes for buyers until you publish again, and you always know what's waiting.
Questions about publishing
Does publishing cost extra?
No. Publishing, your web address and hosting are all included in the one-time $97 CAD.
Can I change my web address later?
Yes, but links you've already shared to the old address will stop working, so it's best to pick one and keep it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The Custom domain add-on ($20 CAD, one time) puts your courses on a subdomain you own, like learn.yourbusiness.com. Your main website stays where it is, and your coursemark.co links keep working.
What happens if I change the password?
Publish again and new buyers get the new password. Students who already have the old one will need the new one, so let them know.
Will students lose their progress when I update the course?
No. Their progress is saved with your course, so it carries over every time you publish.
