Share worksheets and downloads

Lessons don't hold files themselves, so you share a worksheet as a link, with a button students click to open it.

  1. Put the worksheet online

Upload it to Google Drive, Canva, Dropbox or anywhere that gives you a link. Set sharing to Anyone with the link, so students don't need to sign in or ask for access.

  2. Copy the link

Copy the share link. It needs to start with https://.

  3. Add a button to the lesson

In the lesson, add a Button element (it says "Link to a worksheet"). Give it text like Download the worksheet and paste the link.

  4. Check it opens

Open the lesson in your course in a private window and click the button. It should open the file without asking anyone to sign in.

Good to know

  • Anyone with the link can open the file, so only share links you're happy to have passed on.
  • Buttons can link to anything online, like a booking page for a call.
  • Images are different: upload them straight into the lesson. JPG, PNG and WebP photos are shrunk to fit as you upload them.
